 Pro UTV Racing was introduced in 2016 by its Founders, Jeremy Forsyth and Joey Beck, as an added line up to the already popular Pro Rock and Mega Truck Series.

With the growing sport of UTV racing in the last few years these guys have knocked it out of the park with the first ever "Team Challenge" event!

Team RZR Off to a Winning Start for 2017 Racing Season

Mitch Guthrie Jr. takes Best in the Desert UTV Winter Nationals

Minneapolis, Jan. 11, 2017 – Team RZR kept the winning momentum going at the first Best in the Desert (BITD) race of 2017, the UTV Winter Nationals in Parker, Ariz. Cool, wet weather made for a fast course, devoid of the typical desert dust, and Polaris Factory racers came out of the gate gunning for the lead.

Polaris teammates Mitch Guthrie Jr. and Branden Sims battled at the front of the pack for most of the 5-hour race. Sims commented that he felt like he was running the race as a short-course race as he fought to stay out front during the first lap.

Mitch Guthrie Jr. pulled ahead of Sims, crossing the finish line first overall among UTVs, and securing the first-place win in the Pro Turbo Class. Guthrie Jr. and Polaris are thrilled to start with desert racing season with such a dominant performance.

“This is such an awesome way to start off the 2017 season,” said Guthrie Jr. “Thanks to my family, friends, sponsors and co-dog Kurtis Elliott.”

Sims finished third overall, starting his 2017 season with a solid podium finish and points, as he looks to defend his 2016 Pro Turbo Class championship.

 

Brandon Schueler rounded out Team RZR‘s presence in the top 10 in the Pro Turbo Class, finishing seventh among the highly competitive field.

RCV Performance Products is introducing the all-new 1-piece prop shaft to our UTV line featuring new specially designed CVs at both ends. This design eliminates all vibration and carrier bearing noise with the Polaris XP1000 and XP Turbo! The RCV design eliminates any concern of carrier bearing failure or u-joint phasing.  The new RCV prop shaft is made from 0.120” wall 4130 chromoly tubing and 300M CV components that ensure strength.  Prop shaft and components are completely sealed and rebuildable.  A safety loop has been designed that bolts to the factory carrier bearing mount to contain the prop shaft.   Custom lengths available.

Polaris GENERAL™

 

This past July, Polaris revolutionized the off-road experience with the introduction of RIDE COMMAND™. Launched on the RZR^® XP 1000 EPS Velocity Blue Limited Edition and as an accessory for select RZR vehicles, the system enables riders to connect with other riders and provides centralized, seamless device control, including integration with mobile phones, cameras and audio.

 

 

Due to the popularity of RIDE COMMAND, Polaris is extending the technology to its Polaris GENERAL line of vehicles with the introduction of the Polaris GENERAL 1000 EPS RIDE COMMAND Edition Black Pearl. Pairing the unmatched adventure of Polaris GENERAL with RIDE COMMAND will elevate the user’s off-road experience by offering seamless integration of off-road technology, and the ability to chart and share adventures.

 

The RIDE COMMAND system includes the RIDE COMMAND mobile app and a weather-resistant, glove-touch RIDE COMMAND 7-in. display.
